For the past two years I have been asked the question "who will travel with you?" one thousand, seven hundred and twenty seven times. I am single, a widow (spoiler alert). Hmm, who will travel across the world at a unknown time with me? In my mind, there was no one that had to.

I first saw a picture of my little boy in September 2014. His smile that glows, his beautiful big eyes that shine. My heart soared with love. Imagine your heart is a rocket that has fired off into the sky to hang out in the clouds, basking in the warmth of sun and lightness of the air.

This week marks nine years since we made our vows in front of our friends and family. O how young and innocent we were. 

As I write this, it brings tears to my eyes, happy tears, because the Lord has been very busy the last two years between me and my mama. He has done great, miraculous work. 

With much celebration and joy, I share with you that I have received and accepted my official referral! In the next couple months I will be traveling to Africa to pick up my son.
